HELPING HANDS
Are you interested in serving at Cedar Grove but can't commit to a weekly or monthly schedule? Are you seeking a community that values using your gifts, talents, and abilities in service? We'd love to have you join one of our teams, even for a short-term opportunity. If you're open to a more regular commitment, please check out our Volunteer page or consider attending our next Discover Cedar Grove event.
This team provides local outreach by connecting people who love to craft, engage with others, and contribute to our community through our annual Boutique. All funds raised by those serving are donated directly to the ministries of Cedar Grove. The team gathers 3-6 times a year to collaborate on hosting this event and are regularly in need of donated items. For more information, please contact Nancy Lear or visit our Boutique page.
Our dedicated team prepares and delivers meals to those in need, offering love and prayer to families during times of loss, illness, or when welcoming a new child into their home. If you feel called to serve in this way as needs arise, please contact RoAnn Kujacich.
Maintaining our large and historic property requires a lot of care. Every few months, we come together to clean, clear, and create a welcoming environment for our community. We wash windows, vacuum floors, clean chairs, and tackle plenty of yard work. If you'd like to join us in serving, please contact Andrew Poe.
Each summer, a dedicated group from Cedar Grove volunteers at the Alameda County Fair, serving for a few hours as representatives of our church. In return, the county donates proceeds to support our ministries. If you're interested in joining this effort, please contact Nancy Lear.
