We live in a world that has so much, and yet, gives relatively so little. God invites us to be different. By being generous, not only do we get to make a meaningful impact, but we reveal what (or who) matters most to us. Jesus says it like this: "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21). In other words, giving is a reflection of our hearts. We give first because God comes first. We give faithfully to remind us that God is faithful. We give sacrificially to reflect the way God loves us. In essence, giving is an act of worship.

What additional ways are there for giving?
We offer a variety of ways for you to support the ministry beyond traditional tithes and offerings. In addition to regular cash and check donations, you can also contribute through stocks, mutual funds, and other securities, which may provide you with tax benefits. We gratefully accept property donations, including real estate, vehicles, and other valuable assets. Furthermore, you can set up recurring electronic giving through our website, utilize employer matching gift programs, and even include the church in your estate planning. Your generous support in any form helps us further our mission and serve our community more effectively. For more information, contact Carrie Vanlandingham.
How do I set up recurring giving
Setting up recurring giving is a simple and convenient way to support our church regularly. To get started, visit our giving page and select the option for recurring giving at the top. You can choose the frequency of your donations, whether weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually and set the amount you wish to give. This ensures your contributions are consistent, helping us plan and sustain our ministries effectively.
Does my employer have a matching plan?
Check with your employer to see if employer matching is available for charitable giving. Setting up employer matching for charitable giving is done through the employer.
LLNL and Sandia have a very generous matching program (HOME Campaign) that benefits Cedar Grove and other charities in the area. Enrollment in the HOME Campaign is open October through December.

Every January, we email out giving statements to all our generous supporters!

WHAT WE BELIEVE
THE BIBLE
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, central to our faith and practice. It is without error in its original manuscripts and serves as the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct. Through Scripture, God reveals His character, His will for humanity, and the way of salvation through Jesus Christ. We are committed to studying and applying His Word, trusting it to guide and transform our lives.
GOD
We believe in one eternal God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the creator and sustainer of all things, infinite in power, knowledge, and presence. God is holy and just, yet also loving and merciful. He reveals Himself through His Word and works, desiring a personal relationship with each of us through faith in Jesus Christ.
JESUS
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. Through His death and resurrection, He provided the only way of salvation, reconciling us to God. Jesus ascended to heaven, intercedes for us, and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, dwells in every believer at salvation. He convicts the world of sin, empowers believers for life and service, and works to transform them, producing spiritual fruit. The Spirit equips believers with gifts to build up the church and spread the gospel. We rely on His guidance and presence to honor and glorify God in all things.
MANKIND
We believe mankind was created in God's image to have fellowship with Him and reflect His character. Though originally without sin, humanity fell through disobedience, bringing sin into the world. As a result, all people are born with a sinful nature and need salvation. Yet, God's love is shown through Christ's sacrifice, offering forgiveness and restoration to those who place their faith in Him, empowering them to live for His glory.
SALVATION
We believe salvation is God's gracious work, rescuing humanity from condemnation and granting forgiveness and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by good works but is a free gift of God's grace. Through His sacrificial death, Jesus paid for our sins, satisfying God's justice. Salvation is received through repentance and faith in Christ, bringing justification, adoption into God's family, and the promise of eternal life and resurrection glory.
THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers redeemed by His blood and regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Christ is the head of the Church, which exists to worship God, proclaim the gospel, and make disciples. Called to unity in faith and love, the Church is empowered by the Holy Spirit to grow, serve, and reflect Christ’s holiness. It is entrusted with baptism and the Lord’s Supper as signs of the gospel and our union with Christ. We are committed to the life and mission of the Church until His return.
THE ORDINANCES
We believe Christ established two ordinances: baptism and communion. Baptism symbolizes a believer’s union with Christ and commitment to follow Him. Communion commemorates His sacrifice, uniting believers in faith and anticipation of His return.
We believe marriage is a sacred, lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for the Church. It provides companionship, support, and a foundation for raising children. We uphold and honor marriage as a God-ordained institution.
THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will come visibly and bodily to judge the living and the dead. He will establish His kingdom in fullness, bringing ultimate justice and redemption. Believers eagerly await His return, when He will gather His people, resurrect the dead in Christ, and transform our bodies. Until then, we live in readiness, faithfully serving Him and proclaiming the gospel.
THE ETERNAL STATE
We believe in the eternal state, where believers will dwell with God forever in joy, free from sin, suffering, and death. This eternal fellowship will be marked by worship and perfect communion. Those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from God. Our hope rests in His promise to make all things new and establish His righteous kingdom forever.
