We are growing!
WHAT ARE THE NEW SERVICE TIMES?
All of our service times will be new! Starting Sunday, September 7, we’ll gather at 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:15 am—just like we did on Easter. That means everyone gets a fresh opportunity to choose a new service time that works best for their rhythm. Plus, the spacing between services allows time for parking to clear and creates a more relaxed experience for those coming and going. We can’t wait to worship with you at one of these new times!
WHY A THIRD SERVICE?
We’re adding a third service to make room for more people to experience what God is doing at Cedar Grove—without needing to build a bigger building. Our parking lot and auditoriums are filling up, and more and more people are curious to see how God is at work in our church. Adding a new service lets us welcome them in, create space for growth, and continue helping people grow in faith—all while maintaining our church’s warm, family feel and stewarding our resources wisely. It’s an exciting step forward that reflects both God’s blessing and our commitment to make room for more.
WHEN ARE THE PROGRAMS FOR KIDS AND STUDENTS?
Yes! We’re excited to continue offering engaging, age-appropriate programs for infants through 5th grade at all three services—8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:15 am. Your kids will have a safe and fun environment to learn about Jesus while you attend service.
For middle school students, our program will meet upstairs (in our newly renovated space!) during the 11:15 am service, giving them a place to grow in faith and build friendships. We’re committed to walking alongside your family and helping the next generation know and love Jesus!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We’re so glad you asked! As we launch a third service, here are a few meaningful ways you can make a difference:
1. Consider attending the 8:00 am service. If you’re an early riser or have a flexible schedule, this is a great way to help make room at our more popular times. The 8:00 am service will be slightly shorter, less crowded, and easier to navigate—plus, there will occasionally be doughnuts to sweeten the deal!
2. Attend one, serve one. With an added service, we’ll need more volunteers to help things run smoothly—especially in Kids Ministry, tech, and hospitality. Serving at one service and attending another is a powerful way to love others and live out your faith.
3. Invite a friend! With more room available, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring someone along and help them connect with what God is doing at Cedar Grove.
Thank you for being part of this next step—we truly couldn’t do it without you!
WHAT COMES AFTER THREE SERVICES?
The goal isn’t to become a mega church—it’s to keep making room for more people to experience Jesus and grow in faith. If we continue to grow beyond three services, we’ll stay committed to being creative with our facilities and resources, just as we have in the past. We’ll keep solving space issues as they arise, always seeking to be good stewards of what God has given us.
We never want to be in a position where we have to turn people away. While we don’t know exactly what the future holds, we’re confident in this: God is moving, and we’re committed to following His lead. As He continues to draw people to Himself, we’ll be ready to take the next faithful step—whatever that looks like.
WANT TO HELP?
We would love to have you join in on the excitement by volunteering your time and talents. Just send us a message and we will help you find your place to serve!
